How to get there Como is a significant northern Italian town plus a popular holiday destination consequently it is well connected. Como Station San Giovanni is on Italy's main railway network and trains run from Milan to Como frequently. Journey time is approximately 45-60 minutes. They depart from Milan's Stazione Centrale and Stazione Porta Garibaldi, and arrive at San Giovanni, Como's main station. From Como there is a bus and hydrofoil service to Bellagio with departures every hour. The journey time is approximately 70 minutes by bus and 30 minutes from Como to Bellagio by hydrofoil and our hotel is located in the centre of the village only a few minutes walk from the bus and boat stops.
Getting around Lake Como Steamers, boats and buses all serve Bellagio with good connections between the towns and villages all over Lake Como. A frequent boat service (with car ferry) connects the Bellagio with the other main tourist destinations of Lenno, Tremezzo, Villa Carlotta, Cadenabbia, Menaggio, and Varenna. The frequency of the service increases in peak season i.e. from May to September but also operates in the Winter months. A less frequent but faster boat travels the full length of the lake from Como (with stops at most of the above). Buses run approximately hourly all the way up the west coast from Como round to Colico at the north-east.
