Day 1: Transfer day, to the Ponente Riviera.
We meet you and take you to your hotel in the resort village. Flying into Genoa: we meet you at the airport. Flying into Pisa: comfortable rail coonection to Genoa where we meet you at the main railway station. Evening in local resort village. You will be staying along the seafront in an elegant 3 star hotel.
Day 2: Walking in the Alps above the Gulf of Genova.
Up and along the magnificent coastal alps overlooking the Gulf of Genova. This walking itinerary takes you up and above the village where you are staying and traverse the coastal mountain ridges down into the city limits of the regions capital. Pic-nic lunch provided. Day 3: Snow shoeing in the Ligurian Alps.

Day 4: Mountain biking along the Riviera coastal hills
A day mountain biking in the hills under the high coastal Alps. 3 itineraries from 8 to 20kms. Starting after breakfast with an easy cycle along the coast before climbing into hills. The trail continues up along a rugged river valley and onward into the gorges of Leone. A panoramic stop at a chapel overlooking the Ligurian sea before descending back down to the coast. Pic-nic lunch on the beach followed by a ride back next to the sea. Our Comment: This is truly one of those idyllic days out you'll remember forever.

Day 5: Transfer day.
We meet you at your hotel. Flying from Genoa: we take you to Genoa airport for your flight home. Flying from Pisa: we take you to the main railway station in Genoa for your onward rail journey to Pisa airport. Arrange flights back from Pisa in the afternoon for a comfortable transfer. Stay an extra night in Pisa before your flight home and enjoy a day visting the Leaning Tower and historic centre of this beautiful & relaxed city.
Each day you'll be taken out to a different location for a full day exploring the coastal Alps from 3 very different perspectives - always with emphasis on fun, exploration and adventure. These mini-breaks are for those wanting to get away from the day-to-day routine for a quick ‘fix’ of adventure with 3 very invigorating activities requiring no previous experience - winter activities in the sun. These are guided activities with all equipment supplied. Ideal for families and children in their 'teens'. Holiday starts and ends in Genoa. Fly to Genoa, Pisa. Frequent railway services to Genoa from Pisa.
Extend your stay Stay an extra day or two and visit visit Milano, Genova or Pisa for a day. Please note: You should be reasonably fit and fairly used to full day physical activity. These are leisurely, fun activities requiring no previous experience, no ropes, no climbing and no specialist equipment. Anyone who is reasonably fit and wants to enjoy a strong feeling of wild, unspoilt nature in the great outdoors, can participate on this holiday. If you are looking for serious, higher risk and higher adrenaline activity breaks such as canyoning and white water rafting then this is not the tour to go on - there are plenty of more specialist activity centres in the Alps for these kind of activities.
